About

I was born and raised in New York City, performing on Broadway by the age of 9 and touring the country on National Tours as a child well into my early 20’s. Imagination & creativity have been engrained into my soul since I was a child.  But somewhere along the way I lost that sense of wonder and excitement to make stuff.
Life gets complicated, you get distracted and stressed about paying bills and the state of the world around you. Depression sets in, anxiety takes over and sometimes you get lost in your own world. And for a long time that was me.
A year ago I took my first ceramics class and instantly fell in love with the art form, never leaving the studio again. I instantly took to hand building with my first big project: a Chess Set.  I love the process from conception to testing and problem solving, then to building and finally watching the final project emerge from the kiln.
Finding something you love, that makes you tingle when you think about it, or come up with a new concept is honestly some of the purest medicine.  I’m so grateful for finding this craft and excited to finally share it with you.
